Maneuvering Between Web Pages

1. Open Internet Explorer – Your monitor should display the UNM-VC home page.

2. Select “Career Services” on UNM-Valencia’s Home Page
3. (Note: If your computer doesn’t open to UNM-Valencia’s Home Page, enter www.unm.edu/~valencia in the address window and hit enter on your keyboard)
4. Scroll down and select Cooperative Education, open page
5. Using Back button, return to Career Services Home page.
6. Go back to UNM Valencia’s home page.
7. Select Instructional Departments link.
8. Select Business and Technology link.
9. Select Information Technology link.
10. Return to UNM Valencia home page.
11. Go to address bar and enter www.msnbc.com. Hit enter on keyboard
12. Go to the Sports link
13. Go to address bar and enter www.featherfantasy.com hit enter on keyboard.
14. Go to address bar and enter www.unm.edu/~ssljacks, hit enter on keyboard.
15. Use back button, where does it take you?
16. Use back button again, where does it take you?
17. Use back button again, where does it take you?
18. Use the forward button, where does it take you?

Copying

In Working with the Internet Part I, you started using copy and paste off the Internet.

Go to “Student Folder” and open S. Jackson-IT 101”

Open “Practice” folder

Open “Assignment 8” and save to your disk as assignment 8.

Do a search for three different things of your choice.

Using copy and paste, paste an article, picture or ??? you choose, to the assignment 8 page

You can do more than 3 if you like.

Save your document by clicking “Save”
